Walk & Talk Therapy in Birmingham

Perinatal support

I offer walk & talk counselling for those who want space to talk, think, and breathe without the pressure of a formal setting.

If the idea of sitting in a therapy room feels like too much right now, you’re not alone. Walk & talk therapy offers a gentle, more natural way to access support, especially during the early stages of pregnancy and motherhood, when everything can feel overwhelming, exhausting, and unfamiliar.

What is Walk & Talk Therapy?

Walk & talk therapy is exactly what it sounds like, we walk side-by-side in a safe, agreed outdoor space while talking through whatever is on your mind.

There’s no expectation to maintain eye contact, no counselling room, and no pressure. Many people find that being outdoors and moving gently helps conversations flow more naturally.

Testimonials

"Sarah made me feel comfortable from the very start and most importantly safe. She gave me a space to be completely myself and encouraged me to work through what I needed to without doing it for me. She enabled me to take our sessions and workings into real life situations which significantly helped my journey."
"Sarah has been there for me at the darkest time in my life when I needed someone who could understand my perspective as a new mum. She deeply listened and validated my feelings, cried with me, laughed with me, and gave me space to talk at my own pace. Thank you for being there for other mums, it’s so important to have someone specialising in this area of mental health."
