Breathing Exercises
Breathing exercises can be a gentle and effective way to support relaxation, reduce anxiety, and reconnect with your body. Below you’ll find a selection of guided videos that I recommend. These offer a range of techniques you can explore at your own pace, whether you’re looking to calm your mind, manage stress, or create a moment of pause in your day. While these resources may be helpful, they are not a substitute for personalised therapeutic support. Please use your own judgment and stop any exercise that feels uncomfortable. If you have any concerns about your mental or physical health, please seek appropriate professional advice.
During & After Pregnancy
Are you currently pregnant or have just had a baby and wondering how you can try and take more care of yourself during this transition? This is a gentle guide to bring to your awareness and remind you that your mental health and wellbeing matters. Particularly with new hormones surging before birth then rapidly dropping after birth, which can cause overwhelming feelings and intense emotions.
Motherhood Vs Mothering
Perhaps you’ve landed here because you’re struggling with carrying the mental and emotional weight of motherhood? Perhaps this is when that really annoying self-doubt voice creeps in, whispering (or shouting) that you’re doing a bad job at being a mother! This is a gentle guide to support you in noticing the difference between motherhood and mothering and the signs that you might need further support.
Returning from Mat Leave
Are you returning from mat leave soon and feeling anxious and worried about what your world will look like now? Perhaps you’re feeling sad and guilt about returning to work and not being with your baby? This is a gentle guide to support you in noticing the feelings which arise when returning from mat leave and why they might occur. This guide can bring to your awareness the signs that you might need further support.
